Mental Fitness for Teens was founded by Veer Kapur, a high-school student who saw firsthand how stress, pressure, and expectations affect teens every day. Veer started meditating at 9 years of age and has a daily mindfulness practice. He loves to cook and has a mindful cooking YouTube channel: Veer's Kitchen.
From academics and sports to social media and friendships, teens today face more mental load than ever before—but very few are taught how to train their minds.
This initiative was created to:
This is not therapy.
This is skill-building.
This is mental training for real life.
At Mental Fitness for Teens, we offer a wide range of programs to meet the needs and interests of young people in our community. From mindfulness-based practices and meditations to Mental Health First Aid training, mindful cooking classes, and self-care and support, we have something for everyone.
Mental Fitness for Teens is more than a program—it’s a movement to normalize mental training the same way we normalize physical training. By giving teens these tools early, we help create a generation that is more self-aware, resilient, compassionate, and mentally strong.
